Our first publication, “Liminal Station,” used the 2026 Image Text MFA travel practicum to Tokyo as a point of departure.
The result is an unbound two-color risograph publication that takes the form of twelve boarding pass sized pages in a slip case. Each of us independently designed a boarding pass that explores our own artistic interests and responds to the act of collective learning in new surroundings.
“Liminal Station” was printed by Dustin Lin at the Cornell AAP Risograph Studio in an edition of 25. Cover design by Morgan Lieberman with special thanks to JJ and Estee Ellis for cutting and folding the covers in Ithaca.
